We would like to introduce a case study on measures taken to address perceptible vibrations caused by the operation of a ceiling-mounted air conditioning indoor unit. In an existing 12th-floor clinic, perceptible vibrations were occurring on the examination room desk due to the operation of the ceiling-mounted air conditioning indoor unit below. In response to these vibrations, a measure was implemented to replace the existing vibration-damping rubber of the air conditioning unit with a higher-performance spring vibration isolation system, resulting in a reduction of desk vibrations.
